Rebate Special for Big Canoe Buyers!
By Karin Elliott | August 7, 2008
I opened my email this morning and had an offer from Staples, where I usually order my office supplies. They sent me a coupon for $30 off if I spent $200. Sadly I had just ordered well over $200 in toner cartridges and paper a few weeks ago! BUT that ad did get me going enough to start looking around on their site just in case I had an extra $200 burning a hole in my pocket! Then I thought about IBA and I had an idea!
I decided to run a special! If you purchase a house that is one of my listings through me from Now until September 15th, I will rebate 1% of the contract price back to you! Example: If it’s a $200K home then you get 2K back at closing! Even better, if it’s a $1,000,000 home I’ll give you 10K at closing! Check with us for details as there are some exclusions and limitations to this offer. You can see many of our Big Canoe real estate listings on our main site.
Q&A
1. Do I need to sign a Buyers Agreement with you? No, you do not need a Buyers Agreement to purchase through me.
2. It’s hard to buy a house in 1 month! How can I do it? You will need to be under a binding contract by September 15th and close within 4 weeks of the binding agreement date. That should give you plenty of time. You may want to get pre-qualified and start shopping for good rates.
3. Can I have the 1% as a contribution to closing costs instead of cash? Yes! We can write that into the contract as well.
4. When and how can we schedule an appointment? You can call or email me and make an appointment. I’ll be ready when you are!
Hope this incentive has inspired you to find your Big Canoe Home! I’ll be happy to answer any other questions, just give me a call!

Hi Karin,
What a creative idea to offer a “coupon-type” incentive for buyers. Nothing talks like money, and a cash refund or applying an amount to closing costs makes purchasing a home in this strong buyers’ market even more attractive to buyers. Good for you!
