Not Many Foreclosures in Big Canoe, But There Are Some Good Deals!
By djelliott999 | April 16, 2008

The Big Canoe Community has been remarkably stable throughout the nationwide dip in real estate sales. I blogged about this fact the other night, and I’ll repeat a thought I mentioned in that article: It’s very reassuring to me that our mountain community has retained its character, and that prices have been so stable. Even with this stability, there have been a few foreclosures scattered around Big Canoe. For example, one of the Chestnut Knoll condos is being foreclosed on. These are great units, and many of them are also have good rental histories.
There are also many homes in the Big Canoe real estate market that are just plain great deals! One such home is 8144 Black Gum Drive. This home is a 3 BR, 2 BA mountain home with a nice interior view. The owner is very motivated to sell, and the home is currently listed at $314,900. Another good deal is 6260 Columbine Drive. This home features 5 BR, 4.5 BA and GREAT long range views! The owner of this home did one of the nicest remodel jobs we have seen.
