North Georgia Mountain Foreclosures-New Addition to IBA Mountain Homes
This beautiful fall season has just about come to an end. The views have all opened up and I need to get my head out of the trees and back to work! My next project is to advertise foreclosures on our site and most of them are outside of Big Canoe. So here I am, stepping outside of the box, once again!
So many of my customer inquiries are about finding vacation home foreclosures. Big Canoe has them but they are highly sought after and rarely last very long. It got me to thinking about how I can bring more foreclosures to my customers even if they were not in Big Canoe. The Big Canoe Community has proven to be one of the very best mountain home resort communities but not everyone is looking for that. Some buyers want to be as remote as possible and do not want any covenants. My own husband originally wanted a huge hunk of land with a modest home before we found Big Canoe.
Last week I headed up to visit my broker in Ellijay and we shot the breeze for a while talking mainly about real estate. I’ve had some good sales here in Big Canoe recently but was curious about whether or not Ellijay was picking up in sales. She told me she had sold a bunch of North Georgia Mountain foreclosures in Ellijay and the surrounding areas. Then the light bulb above me head flickered! Since many of my readers come here looking for foreclosures, bargains, and deals of the century I asked her if I could put them on the website. She said “absolutely” as she prefers to list them and have another agent sell them.
