565 Lake Watch Villa - Deal of the Week! (and a Free Timeshare?)
By kve | June 7, 2008
Welcome to our newest addition to the blog. Every week I promise to comb through the resale listings in Big Canoe and write about one or 2 that I think are super deals. These deals will not be partial to price range or neighborhood. They may or may not be my listings. Many of them are foreclosures that are sold “as is” with no disclosures. Some are just folks that are ready to sell their homes for remarkable prices just to move on with their lives. Others are builders that need to cut their losses. Please read on for tonight’s “Deal of the Week”!
Tonight’s deal of the week is 565 Lake Watch Villa listed at $229,000 and fully furnished. This home is centrally located and a perfect rental property. It features 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the main with a private loft retreat. There are 3 decks and a view of the golf course plus seasonal view of the lake. You can walk to the lake, beach, golf, and the new clubhouse. No deal is without a little fixing, so here’s the skinny on what you’ll need or want to do to make it more wonderful. You’ll probably want to put some new cabinets and counter tops in the kitchen, possibly expand the decks, and replace a few windows.
Why is this a deal? The best part about buying this home is that the owner is very open to offers and also he is willing to owner finance, lease, lease purchase, and possibly even trade. Owners like this are hard to come by, so please feel free to call me on this if it sounds up your alley. You will not come across a more flexible owner with a centrally located home than this.
Free Timeshare in Helen, Georgia ?
PS - Another interesting thing happened to me yesterday regarding a timeshare. I got a call from a man named George Gibson who would like to GIVE his mother’s time share away. She is not able to come up to it anymore, and he doesn’t want to pay the $400 yearly maintenance if it’s not used.
It’s located in Helen, GA, and according to Mr. Gibson features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, sleeps 6, and overlooks the river. It’s week 29 which is mid July and the dues have been paid for this year. Having never seen the unit, I can’t verify any of this, but I told Mr. Gibson I’d pass the info along in our blog.
It sounded legit over the phone, but as always, perform your due diligence! If you are interested contact George Gibson at (404) 388-3441.
