Big Canoe Trunk or Treat and Tate ES Fall Festival!

On October 22, 2008, Karin Elliott wrote -

Hi There Big Canoe Trunk or Treaters. For anyone that has not read the Big Canoe POA updates the Trunk Or Treat Experience at Wildcat is back to FREE! Hooray! However, you will need to pick up a parking pass to guarantee your parking spot. Several Big Canoers have volunteered to do the Trail of Terror so it should be a fun scare. Right now I have a closing on All Hallows Eve and hope to arrive at Trunk or Treat dressed as something other than a real estate agent! The kids have changed their minds a hundred times already but I think my daughter has settled on some form of flying creature with very beautiful purple wings! (Thank you VA & D!) My son is not particular when it comes to costumes as long as he gets to wear fake blood! (one more high score for VA & D!!) I look forward to seeing everyone there dressed to scare! Once again I plan on keeping my car “as is” rather than decorating it! It’s currently very scary!!

This Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 5-8PMĀ Tate Elementary School will host their annual Fall Festival. There will be plenty of games, a pumpkin contest, scary hay rides and HUGE basket raffles. Looks like Mrs. Arnold will be “Kissing the Pig” this year!! “What’s that?” you ask, well the kids have been sneaking their spare change into the classroom collecting money for Tate ES, and the teacher with the most donations gets to Kiss a Pig at the Fall Festival. Please note that last year the pig was way too ornery to kiss so a friendly, long lashed llama stepped in to pucker-up!! I specifically told Mrs. Arnold that I did not donate a dime to her dilemma! When I ask my son he gives me the shifty eyes!! Hmmm?

Please consider a dollar donation to the gift basket raffles. There are several baskets up for raffle; Chocolate, Car Care, Family Game Night, Fall, Camping, Pamper Yourself, and Christmas. If you are interested please send me an email or give me a call on my cell. These are extravagant baskets and highly coveted! All it takes is a dollar and a dream!

See you at the Fall Festival, AND Trunk or Treat!!

On another note that is not scary, Big Canoe has plenty of amazing resales at even less scary prices. If you are visiting this weekend, please give me a call and I’ll be happy to help you find something that suits all your needs!

Sincerely,

Karin
