Big Canoe® Community

If you are looking to lease a home in the North Georgia area then read on for a few points of interest. Pickens County has a wide range from gated mountain communities such as Bent Tree and Big Canoe rentals down to modest 2 bedroom homes closer to one of the Pickens County cities, such as Jasper, Tate, Marble Hill, Nelson, Hill City, and Talking Rock. Jasper, Georgia is the county seat of Pickens County and the largest city. It is also known as the First Mountain City because it is located at Foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range.
Long Term rentals in Pickens County and the North Georgia area can range from $800 per month all the way to $2,500 per month. Most of the Jasper lease prices range from $800 to $1,400 per month which usually does not include utilities. Leasing a home in Big Canoe runs a little bit higher with a range of $1,500 to $2,500 per month. Most of the time that does not include utilities but it usually does include the Big Canoe POA dues.
Travelling south from Pickens County is convenient with easy access to 515, and it is less than an hour trip to Atlanta. Heading north from Pickens County is a pleasant ride up 515 to Ellijay, Blue Ridge and wide open country.
Another very important point is that Big Canoe is a unique community that may not suit everyone's needs. Leasing a home in Big Canoe lets you try out the mountain resort living lifestyle. Most of the time the results are favorable but for the few that feel coose to live elsewhere they afe free to move out after their lease ends.
Lease homes come furnished and unfurnished and range in price from around $950 to $2,500 (or avove) per month. It is customary to pay a one month deposit along with the first month's payment. Furnished homes may require an additional deposit. While leasing you are responsible for all utilities including but not limited to: electricity, water, propane, cable, phone. Renters are allowed to use the amenities with signed permission from their landlords.
