Winter Wonderland in Big Canoe (and a few listings too)!

Sled Parking Only!
This day is amazing! I got up early, bundled up and hiked over to the waterfalls with my son. All the roads are closed in Big Canoe for the first time in 5 years of living here. They are not letting anyone in the gates until the roads are sanded and safe. The temperature is about 15 degrees. We had the first footprints on our street, and the first sled prints for that matter! Schools are closed and we are planning a pantry style dinner with leftover chili. Days like this are gifts!
If you are living in Atlanta and thinking about making the move to Big Canoe it is so worth it! We rarely get snowed in but we certainly experience all four seasons. Just about every home in Big Canoe has a fireplace for winter; a screen porch for spring, summer, and fall; decks for grilling all year long; and a street that leads to a day of fun on the trails, golf course, tennis courts, gym, pool, fields, dog park, or just a pleasant drive in the mountains.

Cool picture, E.J., wish you had knocked for some hot chocolate. Mom could have had some too.
