Big Canoe Resale Market Predictions for April

Hi Everyone,
Tonight I plan to give my prediction of how the market will turn for the month of April. I purposely did not post this on April 1st due to the “Fool’s” excuse. Feel free to call me a fool at the end of April but I plan to be close enough to keep my composure. Note to all skeptics: I have no psychic training but real estate is what puts food on the table.
As of March 27th, FMLS shows that Big Canoe has had 4 homes go under contract, 4 homes closed, and 1 foreclosure went under contract. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is a whole lot slower than last year, BUT I really do see a light at the end of the tunnel. My computer has been smoking with inquiries and I really think that the “North Carolina” hunters have finally heard about Big Canoe real estate. We are half the price and also close enough to “civilization” to have something to do on a rainy day! My smile brightened even further when I went over to the Southern Living Plan of the Month (WHICH IS ALREADY UNDER CONTRACT!) and saw bumper to bumper cars! Big Canoe is back in action!!
With all that said I predict a strong spring (April to May) with about 16 going under contract. I predict weekenders being the majority with an average price in the 350-375K but a also decent amount of full timers. Unlike other newer mountain communities, Big Canoe has not only presence but credibility as an established planned community.
