Bored? Lonely? need a place to go? The Big Canoe Chapel is the perfect starting point. This non-denominational chapel provides activities for the young  and young at heart! Newcomers truly get a leg-up and get to meet their neighbors in a creative  and non restirctive environment. Many, many clubs get together from quilters to to the Mens Club- Squires and Stags. If you have an interest in it, chances are you can find a club at the Big Canoe Chapel. The Youth Programs are creative and constructive and keep Big Canoe’s young and bright kids busy building friendships and participating in activities.

Mom’s Morning Out offers very reasonable child care for two to five year olds. The curriculum is based on academics with moral roots in a loving environment. There are approximately 3 classes with about 8 children per class. They meet 3 days per week from 9:30 to 1:30 while the moms get a chance to shampoo, rinse and repeat!!! The Mom’s Morining out children are often spotted playing happily at Big Canoe Playfield Park’s playground.

The Family Fellowship meets on Wedneday Nights for dinner at the Chapel where they get to meet and mingle with new and old members of the chapel. Childcare is provided as well for 1/2 hour wile families get to mingle. Many wonderful firendships are made through this fabulous program.

The Women’s Guild is and extremely popular club meets monthly both socially and to help better both the Big Canoe Community and the local needs of Jasper. One annual event is the Big Canoe Tour of Homes which raises thousands of dollars for local charities. Many of the big Canoe residents open up their homes for 2 days and allow  bus tours to admire their good taste and generosity.

Aside from the Sunday Services this chapel centers the Big Canoe community in spirituality and friendship. Whether it be the bell choir, quilting club, or the Chapel Library, the chapel’s doors are as open as the member’s hearts. Stop in to find out more about the clubs and organizations of Big Canoe Chapel.
